Max graduated from the Health Sciences University, formerly the AECC University College which has been training chiropractors in Bournemouth for sixty years. He has worked in Bristol after graduating and together with his business partner, owns and runs a very successful practice in Wiltshire which was established more than thirty years ago and it is flourishing under his stewardship.

Max has a special interest and has undergone specific post-graduate training in Sacro-Occipital Technique. This specialised technique is used by chiropractors not only to assess and treat mechanical problems of the spine as well as the other joints of the body but more importantly, how these changes might cause wider health challenges for patients as a result of the impact these mechanical changes have on the nervous system of the individuals we care for in this practice. This means that Max is experienced in managing a broad spectrum of health-related issues, some of which one would not commonly associate with routine chiropractic care.

Max enjoys the holistic side of his work – helping people to identify how dysfunction might have arisen in the first place as well as what can be done to maintain a happier and more balanced body once the presenting symptoms have eased. He likes supporting people through their health journey with chiropractic care and what it can offer patients long-term to have one’s nervous system functioning at an optimal level.

Outside of his work Max leads his life in a congruent manner, spending time taking care of his own lifestyle. This has been influenced by his being under chiropractic care since he was a youngster and he continues to share that belief system, supported by more recent scientific literature, with his own family and friends.
